Fall!

It was a great 2025 season! We want to thank each and every one of you for supporting our mission of PRESERVATION RESTORATION OPERATION EDUCATION!

We started up with a drizzly season opener where it seemed that every weekend was rain. That did not stop us from having a successful joint event with the Pilots of Barnes where "thank you" flights were given to the employees of the airport. Normally a small fleet of aircraft operate the flights, but due to IFR conditions, our own local Hangar 3 friend Brian saved the day with a Cessna Grand Caravan allowing the rides to go on.

Big thanks also to the 104th Fighter Wing with their generous support of allowing us the honor of showcasing their achievements in our museum lobby. We are honored to serve as their historians with a collection of relics that date all the way back to their founding. In addition to that, the Army National Guard is also a big part of our display with some unique items including a helmet that sports night vision goggles (replica) showcasing the latest of military technology!

The museum is also proud of our neighbors, the Westfield Technical Academy and their 2025 graduates! This year was our second annual $2000 cash scholarship, and we look forward to continuing the tradition each and every year going forward!

The Barnes-Westfield Airport is a great place to be, and the support of all the local pilots, businesses, education groups, and employees are what makes it so special. We are proud to be a part of this community, and we look forward to the 2026 season! See you there!
