That's a Wrap for 2026!

What a great season it has been! The nights are getting cooler, and soon we'll be in winter maintenance mode in the hangar. We'd like to thank all of our supporters this year. With your help, we've upgraded our hangar with a new fan that's kept us cooler in the summer heat, and it will also help keep our heating costs lower in the winter. Our next project is to upgrade our heating system to help keep the hangar warm while keeping the utility bills as low as possible. We are an all-volunteer group, and this is all made possible by the great support of our members, hangar tenants, and museum visitors. 

We started the summer season with a great Open House, saw the F-15's retired from the 104th Fighter Wing, and experienced the new F-35's join the airport in support of our Nation's Freedom. This year was the 3rd Annual Westfield Technical Academy Scholarship, and we look forward to continuing that tradition for the graduating class of 2027. As we transition to winter mode, we'd like to invite anyone interested in joining us for some great winter projects come out for some fun! We've got a few engine displays in the works, along with some hangar display's that need some finishing touches. We also have a few tours with local aviation groups throughout the winter, so if you're interested in a group tour, please reach out! 

We're excited for what 2027 brings, and we will to continue the fun we've been sharing with the Barnes-Westfield aviation community!
