Spring 2024 and Membership Drive!

Spring is here! We've had a busy winter, and the dust has not yet settled on our lobby and pilot lounge renovation. Some great things have arrived at the museum over the winter break. We have our Safari 400 helicopter, our Italian Glider, and soon to arrive before the next fly-in is the newest addition to the hangar, a 1941 Stinson 10A in Civil Air Patrol colors! The Stinson 10A was used by the CAP during WW2 along the east coast of the US for maritime submarine patrol. Some were even equipped with a 100-lb bomb should they have run across an enemy U-boat. The aircraft will be restored to flying status, and be available to museum members to fly! We look forward to seeing everyone this season, and we hope you can make it to our Saturday fly-in's! As always, drive-in's are welcome, too!

If you're interested in helping out with the museum, please reach out! We are always seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help out at Hangar 3! Currently we are working on forming a restoration group for the Stinson 10A, so if you have a background in aviation maintenance, and have a passion for vintage aircraft, this is the place!
