End of Summer '26

What a great season it has been! The nights are getting cooler, and soon we'll be in winter maintenance mode in the hangar. We'd like to thank all of our supporters this year. With your help, we've upgraded our hangar with a new fan that's kept us cooler in the summer heat, and it will also help keep our heating costs lower in the winter. Our next project is to upgrade our heating system to help keep the hangar warm while keeping the utility bills as low as possible. We are an all-volunteer group, and this is all made possible by the great support of our members, hangar tenants, and museum visitors. 

We started the summer season with a great Open House, saw the F-15's retired from the 104th Fighter Wing, and experienced the new F-35's join the airport in support of our Nation's Freedom. We look forwards to next year, but this season isn't quite done! Join us for the Golf Tournament, the Westfield on Weekends PumpkinFEST at Amelia Park, and a cool car show on field to wrap up the season.

Below is a photo at the 2024 WTA Graduation Ceremony where the Westfield Aviation Academy presented the 1st annual Student Scholarship! Each year we present the top graduation student with a cash scholarship, and 2027 will be our 4th year!
